The intensive masterclass with Ory was exactly what I needed. In a very short time Ory guided me on how to find more focus and a richer color in my sound, and how to apply this focus on different techniques-staccato, piano, tuning of the high register, lengthening of phrases, and more. Ory is one of these rare cases of an excellent musician and flutist, who is also a fantastic teacher. The systematic set of exercises that he developed is highly effective and would benefit anyone in acquiring a full range of sound possibilities. The format of the intensive masterclass enables to really learn and transform in a very short time. I feel like I now have a new trajectory, and I look forward to implementing the new ideas into my performance. (And also, the cake and coffee were delicious!)

  I highly recommend Ory's three day one-on-one hourly master classes. Throughout each session, he was able to quickly analyze, diagnose and make suggestions for improvement using fresh ideas and analogies. It was a wonderful opportunity to step away from repertoire for a bit and focus solely on tone production. I will definitely sign up again in the future for a refresher session!

  I did a 5 days course with Ory, and it was really nice to work on technical aspects with him. The fact that the classes were so long and so many days in a row helped me to really integrate what he asked as natural way of playing. The fact that I was able to internalise his recommendations and how it made me feel physically helped me to go quickly back in shape (like 30 min) after having several days only playing piccolo, and this was always an issue before. I would definitely recommend his masterclass, doing it as many days as possible!

  I feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to spend my quarantine period working remotely with Ory through his online FluteInWien program. Ory breaks down your fundamental technique into regimented muscular exercises, all always in service of the beauty of the flute and the music. This 3-day intensive is one I'd recommend to flutists of any level of experience as the elements Ory focuses on are universal for all flute playing. Ory is an effective and motivating trainer, and I left all of our sessions feeling more inspired than the one previous. Thank you, Ory!!

  I had the pleasure to work with Ory Schneor for three days which was for me the right amount of time to get some new ideas and explore new aspects of my flute playing. After a master's degree in flute I started to feel a bit stuck in my own routine and was never a hundred percent happy with my sound when playing quiet phrases. Ory was the first teacher in years who instructed and encouraged me to change my embouchure which is probably one of the biggest challenges. After one week with the new routine I feel more comfortable than ever with my sound and notice significant improvements in my high register as well as tonguing. Best investment in myself, thank you Ory!

  I was so excited by the opportunity to work with Ory. I have found his suggestions and guidance to be especially helpful for the orchestral flutist. I truly enjoyed trying many new ways of phrasing and articulating the excerpts. He is a patient teacher and is very good at explaining how to execute a new idea. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with and I would recommend him to any flutist looking to try new ways to improve. I loved my 6 am lessons!

  Ory is at least as skilled as a flute teacher as he is a flutist! 3 days of intensive lessons together were the inspiration I needed. Ory's explanations were particularly clear and effective, starting from a deep knowledge of the basic techniques of playing the flute.   La clase magistral que tuve con Ory en Aveiro estuvo genial! Mejoró con ejercicios simples mi forma de solplar, relajé mi embocadura teniendo como resutlado un sonido que nunca había tenido; fuerte, sólido y grande! también mi articulación ahora está mucho más fluida y sobre todo sin tanto esfuerzo. El enfoque que tuvo conmigo en 50 minutos fué muy efectivo. Excelente!!
