I feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to spend my quarantine period working remotely with Ory through his online FluteInWien program. Ory breaks down your fundamental technique into regimented muscular exercises, all always in service of the beauty of the flute and the music. This 3-day intensive is one I'd recommend to flutists of any level of experience as the elements Ory focuses on are universal for all flute playing. Ory is an effective and motivating trainer, and I left all of our sessions feeling more inspired than the one previous. Thank you, Ory!!

  I had a fabulous week participating in FluteinWien! Ory transformed my sound from being a rather unfocused tone to a gloriously rich full focused tone in the course of 5 days. His patience and ability to explain minute adjustments within the embouchure and oral cavity were extremely beneficial. Having gone through this experience, I feel a lot more confident on how to approach and maintain a consistent tone throughout my repertoire, excerpts, and etudes. To finish each flute masterclass with a pleasant chat, fresh home-made cheesecake, and cappucino or tea, made for a great reward after a lot of hard work on the flute.   Firstly a huge thank you to Ory, his online warmup course was simply incredible! I’ve never before had such a significant improvement in my playing in so short a time. Ory’s lessons were structured and organised with just a few simple and focused exercises which cover everything from tone, dynamics, intervals, note attacks and articulation. He has a way of explaining things that really resonated with me and which got me experiencing my airstream in a whole new way. And that was just on the first day! Ory is an insightful and patient teacher and I ended each lesson feeling so inspired. Great to have the 3 lessons over 3 consecutive days, it really helps. Over the 2 weeks since then, my embouchure has lost tension and gained flexibility each time I’ve practised and worked on the exercises which is so so motivating. I can’t recommend Ory’s course highly enough, it’s great value for money and I can honestly say it’s the best investment I’ve made in my flute playing in a long time.

  I have been following Ory Schneors page since quite a while. I have red his articles on technical subjects, in my opinion they are very good writings, watching his performances that I find very authentic to every style he plays in. And finally the time has come that i could actually book a private Masterclass with him. I took a 4 days long intensive Masterclass which exactly I was looking for, someone who only teach me for 2-3 hours a day. That is what I love. There is so little that you can do in only one hour class or summer course when you have 1 hour class per week, so I really enjoyed this private class. We were working on the lips flexibility. I am in the situation, that when I practice, certain colours and sounds are coming automatically, and even though I am practising flexibility exercises, there were some times when I was not able to reproduce a colour because I didn't find back to that embouchure. So Ory was most helpfully "torturing" 🤣 me with exercises (one particularly a killer) to help me. Its exactly like (as he also called it) going to the gym, working out with our lips and the muscles around it. Working on to be able to control and use them consciously. I really admire his patience, so I say an extra Thank You for that 😊 He is very friendly, great musician, and a wonderful teacher. Makes also a killer cheesecake and coffee 😉 Thank you Ory for this opportunity, I had a great time, keeping up with the exercises and truly appreciate the time I have spent there on your class. If I have the possibility, I will definitely book a class again! 😊

  I really enjoyed Ory's course! I have learned a lot, the exercises he has been teaching me are very useful and I have seen results very quickly. Also, you can easily integrate them into your routine. Ory has given me new points of view to the repertoire I have played in the lessons and I am leaving the course full of new ideas and inspiration. I highly recommend this course and also to have the opportunity to visit such a beautiful city!

  Ory’s course is fantastic. He is a patient and supportive teacher, and his system is clear, simple and accessible. Every aspect is separated out, so it can be worked on with a full focus. You get better control of your playing and tone production, fast results, and a better teaching method so you can help your students. I found the exercises for the lips especially helpful. Highly recommended!

  The intesive masterclass with Ory was exactly what I was looking for. Very intense five days brought me really good results. Ory is a very creative, highly trained professional flutist and teacher. For me personally, it was a time of fantastic work, refreshing the technique and refining the details.   Ory is at least as skilled as a flute teacher as he is a flutist! 3 days of intensive lessons together were the inspiration I needed. Ory's explanations were particularly clear and effective, starting from a deep knowledge of the basic techniques of playing the flute. I was also impressed by the patience, focus and attention to detail during the lessons. At the end of the 3 days of intensive course, I was already able to apply and integrate the new ideas on the repertoire, also having a study plan to take home.   I highly recommend Ory's three day one-on-one hourly master classes. Throughout each session, he was able to quickly analyze, diagnose and make suggestions for improvement using fresh ideas and analogies. It was a wonderful opportunity to step away from repertoire for a bit and focus solely on tone production. I will definitely sign up again in the future for a refresher session!
