Orys warming up routine were three days with many ideas and exercises, which sensibilised myself to a lot of complexe details for a stable ton. Ory is a very attentive teacher, clearly guiding through the well selected exercises. I appreciated that he put special exercises to my individual wishes on the third day.   I have just finished Ory's three day warm up lessons.....and I only wish I had done so earlier! Ory is a patient, clear, very knowledgeable teacher. The lessons were very focused and each one developed further on the previous one. Ory was very detailed in his tuition and I saw improvements from the first class. He has left me with plenty to work on but he also provided all the notes and course work I need to continue exploring his lessons further. I can highly recommend these lessons to anyone who wants to develop their playing and push themselves further, or if you are stuck or directionless in your practice.   Ory is at least as skilled as a flute teacher as he is a flutist! 3 days of intensive lessons together were the inspiration I needed. Ory's explanations were particularly clear and effective, starting from a deep knowledge of the basic techniques of playing the flute. I was also impressed by the patience, focus and attention to detail during the lessons. At the end of the 3 days of intensive course, I was already able to apply and integrate the new ideas on the repertoire, also having a study plan to take home.   I attended online warm-up routine course. It was very useful for me. I learnt to see how my lips are changing when I am playing notes in different octaves. I hadn't realised it before. And I practised air changing. Ory is patient and nice and he knows a lot. 🙂

  I feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to spend my quarantine period working remotely with Ory through his online FluteInWien program. Ory breaks down your fundamental technique into regimented muscular exercises, all always in service of the beauty of the flute and the music.
