You get better control of your playing and tone production, fast results, and a better teaching method so you can help your students. I found the exercises for the lips especially helpful.   The intensive masterclass with Ory was exactly what I needed. In a very short time Ory guided me on how to find more focus and a richer color in my sound, and how to apply this focus on different techniques-staccato, piano, tuning of the high register, lengthening of phrases, and more. Ory is one of these rare cases of an excellent musician and flutist, who is also a fantastic teacher. The systematic set of exercises that he developed is highly effective and would benefit anyone in acquiring a full range of sound possibilities. The format of the intensive masterclass enables to really learn and transform in a very short time. I feel like I now have a new trajectory, and I look forward to implementing the new ideas into my performance. (And also, the cake and coffee were delicious!)

  My purpose in going to Vienna for part of my Creative Renewal Arts Fellowship was to study with world-renowned flutist and educator Ory Schneor: FLUTEinWIEN His methods have been highly influential in my own teaching practice, and it was truly surreal and inspirational to meet and learn from him in a private intensive masterclass. For 5 days, 3 hours each day, we were able to dive deep into tone and warm-up exercises as well as several pieces. I was blown away by how much I was able to improve in such a short time. As the cherry on top (haha) we also enjoyed cheesecake, coffee, and conversation at the end of each day's session. 😋 I highly recommend my flute colleagues check him out, he has a ton of helpful resources!

  I want to thank, from the bottom of my heart, for three wonderful and meaningful lessons. 🙏 I found myself in a very frustrating situation, where i found myself playing alot and not really progressing. stuck for the same difficulties in playing etudes and themes. After 3 hour lessons, with the feeling that i am going through gym for lips muscles and those who support them.🏋️‍♂️ Already after 2 lessons (out of 3), the change has taken place.
