Ory is a truly fantastic flute player, musician and teacher. He is kind, patient and clearly has a wealth of knowledge he is very willing to share. I think it’s always great to seek advice from those you respect and admire and after 3 lessons with Ory, I left Vienna feeling motivated, inspired and confident. Thanks so much Ory!

  I looooved it! I admit that I was abit worried before I started the masterclass with Ory. I didn't know what to expect and how he works. I have to say that I decided to be open minded and just go for it. Worse case, I hear some odd methods and enjoy Vienna 😉 Now, after five intense days with Ory, I can say that it was worth it!! I am very happy with the way we worked. Ory is very sweet and kind, and he works on every little detail in every aspect (sound, technique, musicality, phrasing, breathing). I am very happy for this opportunity of meeting Ory and working with him. Thanks again Ory, for amazing five days, full of hard work, great company and really good cake! ���

  I highly recommend the Ory's warm up course. It covers many aspects of playing flute ( focus, dynamics, air speed control and tonguing). Aftee just two classes my wife ( who is violinist) said that my sound was richer, with more harmonics . The Ory's instructions were very clear and precise!   I highly recommend FluteInWien intensive masterclass! During the three days of lesson Ory shared a lot of new exercises to help improve tone quality and the flexibility of the embouchure as well as lots of ideas on how to play the repertoire! Thank you Ory!

  I was so excited by the opportunity to work with Ory. I have found his suggestions and guidance to be especially helpful for the orchestral flutist. I truly enjoyed trying many new ways of phrasing and articulating the excerpts. He is a patient teacher and is very good at explaining how to execute a new idea. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with and I would recommend him to any flutist looking to try new ways to improve. I loved my 6 am lessons!

  If there’s anything I love more than teaching - it’s learning. Ory’s warm-up course was my birthday present to myself, and it was indeed a wonderful gift. Ory is very analytical and clear and his exercise series trains all the embouchure muscles and widens their motion ranges. This can really help open up the sound, focus it, and get rid of excess tension in the lips, cheeks and jaws. It helped me loosen up my jaw which tends to get tense and stress other nerves. Thanks Ory!

  I did a 5 days course with Ory, and it was really nice to work on technical aspects with him. The fact that the classes were so long and so many days in a row helped me to really integrate what he asked as natural way of playing. The fact that I was able to internalise his recommendations and how it made me feel physically helped me to go quickly back in shape (like 30 min) after having several days only playing piccolo, and this was always an issue before. I would definitely recommend his masterclass, doing it as many days as possible!
