This week, me and my friend Eva experienced our first flute masterclass. The masterclass included 4 days of intensive flute playing, exploring new techniques and sound exercises and even delicious coffee and cake in the breaks. I think the classes helped me a lot with my playing and I would totally recommend it to other participants. It was also set in one of the most beautiful cities in the Europe- Vienna. Ory, thank you so much for those wonderful 4 days filled with music, joy and inspiration! 😊

  Ory's intensive warm-up course was a wonderful experience and a great investment for me. Exercises are thoughtfully structured and guided by Ory with great explanation, enthusiasm and care. After a few days of practicing my sound got richer and more resonant and I can play with much more control. I can use this great ideas also in the class with my students. Thank you, Ory!!!

  I just completed this excellent three day course. Ory Schneor's insightful instructions and comments during the course helped me right away. Through his clear demonstrations and intuitive comments, I felt a real physical change. My embouchure is so much more stable already and I am really looking forward to experimenting more and to working on these exercises with my own university students!

  I've got an online course from Ory - three days warm-up course. It was amazing! I appreciate very much Ory's playing and teaching. I like that Ory gives very clear instructions for exercises and also plays it for a student. Ory is patient and kind teacher. He pays attention on how you do an exercise very carefully. After practicing with Ory my friends who are musicians noticed that my flute sound became more powerful and colourful and I'm really thankful to Ory for that!

  I did the warm up course in December and every day now, I play and think about and use the ideas and approaches Ory introduced me to. It was incredible how much we covered in the 3 sessions and I regularly go back to my notes (and his) and think about various aspects. I'm so happy to have found Ory and his approach. I love to develop and improve and in doing that, develop my teaching too. Thank you. I will definitely be back for a follow up but still too much to work on for now! Money well spent. Thank you.

  I was so excited by the opportunity to work with Ory. I have found his suggestions and guidance to be especially helpful for the orchestral flutist. I truly enjoyed trying many new ways of phrasing and articulating the excerpts. He is a patient teacher and is very good at explaining how to execute a new idea. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with and I would recommend him to any flutist looking to try new ways to improve. I loved my 6 am lessons!

  I looooved it! I admit that I was abit worried before I started the masterclass with Ory. I didn't know what to expect and how he works. I have to say that I decided to be open minded and just go for it. Worse case, I hear some odd methods and enjoy Vienna 😉 Now, after five intense days with Ory, I can say that it was worth it!! I am very happy with the way we worked. Ory is very sweet and kind, and he works on every little detail in every aspect (sound, technique, musicality, phrasing, breathing).   I had the pleasure to work with Ory Schneor for three days which was for me the right amount of time to get some new ideas and explore new aspects of my flute playing. After a master's degree in flute I started to feel a bit stuck in my own routine and was never a hundred percent happy with my sound when playing quiet phrases. Ory was the first teacher in years who instructed and encouraged me to change my embouchure which is probably one of the biggest challenges. After one week with the new routine I feel more comfortable than ever with my sound and notice significant improvements in my high register as well as tonguing. Best investment in myself, thank you Ory!
