Ory is an excellent teacher who shares great advices and exercises based on the flutist current level. During my four classes I improved the quality of my tone, received many exercises to help me in the future as well as great advice on how to play different pieces.   I highly recommend Ory's three day one-on-one hourly master classes. Throughout each session, he was able to quickly analyze, diagnose and make suggestions for improvement using fresh ideas and analogies. It was a wonderful opportunity to step away from repertoire for a bit and focus solely on tone production. I will definitely sign up again in the future for a refresher session!

  The intensive masterclass with Ory was exactly what I needed. In a very short time Ory guided me on how to find more focus and a richer color in my sound, and how to apply this focus on different techniques-staccato, piano, tuning of the high register, lengthening of phrases, and more. Ory is one of these rare cases of an excellent musician and flutist, who is also a fantastic teacher. The systematic set of exercises that he developed is highly effective and would benefit anyone in acquiring a full range of sound possibilities. The format of the intensive masterclass enables to really learn and transform in a very short time. I feel like I now have a new trajectory, and I look forward to implementing the new ideas into my performance. (And also, the cake and coffee were delicious!)

  I have just finished Ory's three day warm up lessons.....and I only wish I had done so earlier! Ory is a patient, clear, very knowledgeable teacher. The lessons were very focused and each one developed further on the previous one. Ory was very detailed in his tuition and I saw improvements from the first class. He has left me with plenty to work on but he also provided all the notes and course work I need to continue exploring his lessons further. I can highly recommend these lessons to anyone who wants to develop their playing and push themselves further, or if you are stuck or directionless in your practice.   I really enjoyed Ory's course! I have learned a lot, the exercises he has been teaching me are very useful and I have seen results very quickly. Also, you can easily integrate them into your routine. Ory has given me new points of view to the repertoire I have played in the lessons and I am leaving the course full of new ideas and inspiration.
